Gal. 1:10 – “For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.”
Living in the world and not being of the world is a daunting task.  The darts that Satan hurls at us in the work force seem unending.  Sometimes it is much easier to just give in than it is to stand your ground in times of tribulation and persecution.  We must not give in to the world’s demands to be conformed to this world.  Rom 12:1-2 helps us see that we are to be different.  We are not here to please men on earth, but rather to serve God.

We must be very careful in our careers to not let our drive to move up the ladder compromise our service to the Saviour.  We must make the choice to always be a Christian first.  Satan is crafty at maneuvering in and out of our lives, especially in our work environment.  Our jobs and careers are important, but not more important than our souls.

God bless you in your pursuit of all spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus.
